Happy 50th Independence Day, Malaysia! :)
Saya Anak Malaysia! :) I'm proud of Malaysia. Really. So don't come up to me and bull* about this country.
If there's anything I can't stand, it's people hating their own country.
"Omg, it's so backward, it's so lameeeee!" Yes, Malaysia isn't the most advanced country I know. We still have room for improvement. And I believe God is doing something great for our nation :) We're half a century old!
Anyway,
Awesome news: Remember I blogged about how tiring and exhausting it was practicing for the High School Musical Dance Competition? Yeah. We won. Ahaaa. Out of 23 teams in the northern region! So there are like, four winners in Malaysia for all regions. And we're one of em! So you get to vote for us on www.disneychannel-asia.com from 9th to 23rd of September and also watch us during the premiere of High School Musical 2 on the 9th of September! Nice huh :P
Moving on, I know i haven't been blogging for the whole one-week holiday. So here's what I did. A review of every single day. (:
Saturday- Parent-Leader Meet in church, as I've already showed you the pictures in the last post. And SNL after that.
Sunday- We went for the Sunday morning service. The Youths were in charged of EVERYTHING. Really really awesome. Went to Joel's house after that. Fooled around with his Mac, TV, guitar and everything. Haha that brat. Tskk. At night, Joel, SiuKeong, Aaron, QingLing, my sis and I went to church for some Indonesian band thing. Omgsh they were SO awesome, the drums and bass were so frgn loud. And we stayed till about uhm 10-ish? 11-ish? Yeah. Joel dropped us home, and that was it (:
Monday & Tuesday- Cheer practice the WHOLE day. Trust me when i say the whole day. Haha :P
Wednesday- THE ACTUAL HSM DANCE COMPETITION! :O Charis was there! XXX Took digital prints at some photobooth thing. (: And we had the most number of supporters too! They wrote 69 but there were more than that x) Aha. Our parents were more excited than us, seriously. Anyway I'll stop stalling and tell you that we won. Haha i'm so anti-climatic, i know :P WE WON! Aha, there you go :P It was a huge thing, as there were schools all the way from Ipoh like Ipoh International School and more, and besides the point that we're one of the ONLY FOUR teams in Malaysia in the finals :) So we had to stay back with the crew and dance again for the actual premiere. After dancing for like about a gazillion times for the camera's close shot, full shot, and whatever, we had to say "Vote for us, Malaysia" for about a gazillion times too. Haha. I like exaggerating. :) And then there was the interview. We won lots of goodies too! Yay. :P It was approaching night time when the sound and media crew decided they'll call it a wrap. Everyone was pooped, but my sis and I went for the Unleashed Conference/Concert in The Realm Church with Nicky, Pragas, Joel, Aaron, Moy, QingLing, and more. Haha. It was beyond awesome. The prayer session, people were getting touched by the Holy Spirit, people were getting healed, they were falling onto the ground, crying, shouting and everything. It was awesome the way God moved that night, and it just proves to me even more that God is real. =)
Thursday- Lazed around at home. I deserve a break too, y'know :P
Friday- Youth outing! Woooo. Went to the beach with the youths, about 20+ of us. :) It was really fun. Except for the fact that I got hit by the ball TWICE during captain ball. Haha it was funny besides the fact that my lip was bleeding. Haha yes, lip injury again. :P And I got thrown into the sea. Grrr. Thanks to SiuKeong and TerMin. Those guys are devils, I tell you :P Haha. Then we wanted to walk to this particular stony part further from the shore. So yeah, we went. And the guys were joking about baptizing TerMin or something :\
Samuel: In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, ... See the rocks behind Sern's head? Yeah. We wanted to get there. It was quite far, I took this picture when I was already waist-high in the water. The walk/swim there was quite a journey as there were moss on the ground, and as clear as the water is, I couldn't see my feet! Anyway, Samuel was the first one to reach, then Daniel. Haha Samuel being Samuel, he was dancing alone on the rocks. All the guys who were guiding and carrying us, decided to abandon us to join Samuel and Daniel. Haha :P They stripped and sunbathed on the rocks and it was a very disturbing sight. Lol. Then we went back to the beach, and washed up. The guys did it openly behind the tree. The girls were taking turns in the van changing, two in the van while the rest of the girls holding up newspapers around the van. Ohgosh, we took FOREVER. Haha. It wasn't easy! We went for lunch and SiuKeong dropped us home.
Saturday- St. George's Girls' School Interact Installation! :) Wooot. Most people arrived on time, and we're proud to say that we were only 5 minutes behind time. Aha. Jan assigned me as the MC at the VERY last minute. When I say last minute, I mean last MINUTE :P Haha. I guess it's okay since I didn't help with the organizing. Haha :P I reckon I did a pretty good job although I was shouting into the microphone 98% of the time. I'm naturally loud. Sue me. Anyway, it was awesome! I'm glad to say that everyone danced during the freedance session. And we even had a slowdance session! My first slowdance with a dude apart from my dad! Haha! Danced with Jan, Nick and Jeff (: It was nice and we made complete fools out of ourselves :P We played the 'New Friend Found' game too! It was fun, but people kept losing their partners :\ Oh well. So that was that. Sggs' Installation 2007 :)
Later in the afternoon, Kelvin fetched me to church. Saturday was the day all the youths had to dress up in their school uniform! Haha it was really fun. Even people who left school LONG ago dressed up in school uniform! Haha -cough- :P :P Oh yeah, it was my solo dance performance too. Get this. I've NEVER danced a SLOW BALLET-ISH dance in front of a crowd ALONE before. I was really shaking. Haha. I completely blanked out during the last few verses, and I had to make my own steps on the spot! Haha it was weird, but whatever. :P Then we had a guest speaker, who specialized in homosexuals or something. And it was an eye-opening and very open-minded sermon. Mmhmm after that, we took many many pictures and went for supper :)
Sunday- SiuKeong fetched my sis and I for Sunday morning service, and on the way, he got a message which said that Ian Lim, who was diagnosed with brain tumour about 7 months back, passed away. Well, the sad thing was that Ian's just 14 years old. But at least we know that he's in an awesome awesome place now. :)
A tribute to him in Pragas' blog. He truly fought a brave battle to survive the worst physical and mental agony that a person can ever encounter for 7 long months.
Anyway, we went for Sunday service, which talks about our attitudes and feelings before God, and to not feel anxious :) then lunch with Pragas, Nicky, Joel, SiuKeong and my sis. Then we went to Ian's place for his funeral. We even saw him in his coffin, looking so peaceful. Oh well. Pragas dropped us back and that was the day :)
Fuhhh. That was a LONG post. LONG doesn't even describe it. It's.. it's.. well, long. Excuse the limitation of vocabulary. Brain's not functioning. Heh. I think i deserve something for this long post, which took me more than 2 hours to type and well, do other things at the same time. :P Haha all in all, it's still 2 hours.
Ohh. I have the best gift for myself, in the name of blogging. x)
Woooot. :) Pralines&Cream, Maui Brownie Madness.
31%! Aha. Comfort food, people. Comfort food x) Bhahaha.

Haven't been blogging for a quite a period of time (6 days). Heh. I've got so many things to blog about, it's insane.
But firstly, the HSM dance competition is tomorrow. Have been going to and fro from school to Ala Pointe Ballet School's studio to Andrea's house for these couple of days. Just came back and I'm pooped, really. Feeling so lethargic nowadays. And can't seem to think straight :\
Ah well. Pictures:
Charlene doing the 'worm' thingo. LayWah doing uhm, some handstand-backflip thing. Heh :\
Doing mindless stuff during our 5-minute break time. Heh. And yes, I'm the one in black taking all the lousehh pictures :P Aha. It's a gift ;) Anyway, I volunteered to make the signs for our team, EXPLODE. It's not that impressive, but yeah. I'm not exactly the most creative person you'll ever meet either :P
Haha anyway, that was the FINAL product. Before that, I got bored. And my ohsoawesome little sis fell asleep while helping me to make the cards. Well, when KaiWen gets bored, she does stupid stuff :) Uhm wait. KaiWen DOES stupid stuff, bored or not. :P Haha. I take pride in it, people. I'll be nice today and show you my doodlessss. At first they were simple simple lame stuff like:
Then it got to the point where I drew people. And don't even bother saying that "ohemgee your people don't have properly-drawn faces". Yes I do realize I can NEVER draw faces. It
always end up like a face belonging to a mutant or something similar to a badly-drawn Pokemon. :\
There you go :) And YES i ALSO realize that the girl is taller than the dude. But yeah. Whatever :P Haha. And OF COURSE I realize that the dress the first girl's wearing looks freakishly similar to my dress on EPCC's 10th Anniversary Dinner. (Actually I realized that after I finished it but let's not go on about that) Mmhmm. THEN. My boredom got really crucial to the point that I coloured this:
-.- Like whatthehell right. When I realized I just coloured the Huggies word on a diaper cardboard box, I knew my boredom got to the extent that I should actually be doing something more productive. So I continued finishing up my other EXPLODE words :) Yay me.
Ah well. Last Saturday was the parent-leaders meeting in church too. Well, being an usher, I had to wear a VEST :\ Okay i'll be EXTRA nice today and let you see the picture.
Joanna, KaiWenTheGreat, NiWen, Pragas, Kelvin (L-R) Yes, you can go laugh your head off now. Till next time, folks. Love.

I didn't wanna go to school today :( Sleep deprivation, really.
Had Biology for first period. Presentation about uhm.
Grasshoppers? insects :)
Would you just look at ShuMei's grasshopper. Geez, she's a freakin overachiever, I tell you. And my absolute best friend too :P Haha. Oh, I coloured the eye too. Yes I did :)
There there. I wrote the title :O haha. Amazing feat, i know. Kiddy writing.
Nice touch, no? Haha. We rocked the presentation. Okay so basically I didn't do anything in the aid of presenting. Except standing there and uhm, talk to Sarah R and Sam. Haha :D Afi and Muz did the talking. Don't we make a great team? :P
Okay anyway, we were supposed to have the last 4 periods free. :D :D as in no teachers, as in no discipline, as in eating and shouting at the top of
our my lungs :) Heh. But turns out Ms. Geraldine Dass was here. Blehh.
She's such a pain in the ass. She's not fond of me. Haha :P Maybe cos I solve AddMaths questions during Accounts periods. Oh well.
Today, the Vivacious cheerleading team committee was conducting an auditions for next year's new members. The people who turned up were not bad actually. There's potential, but I'm not sure if we can still maintain our standards. Mmmm.
It's late. I'm out, people :)

Oh; there were so many things going on today. Had to wake up at 6:20am. Sis had to threaten and shout at me. Haha i pity her. (Sometimes) :) I crawled out of bed, literally (I'm serious). Reached school at 6:40am! Everyone was like "OhMyGod, kaiwen's in school at 6:40" Harhar, people. Sarah came, and she brought 3 frogs to be dissected during Biology. Haha we named them Skinny (Sarah R. named it. Very creative, Sarah -.-), Buldgie (i named him -which turned out to be a her, she had eggs- that cos he she had big buldging eyes) and Weirdo (sad huh. he's like the black sheep). Anyway MeiYen came and she told me about stuff (which i shall not publish here, albeit the temptation's killing me) which were very distracting. Very very distracting. Oh well, ran 1.5km for PE. Blehh wasn't in the mood for running at all. Was feeling so lethargic and lazyyy. But completed it in 8:58! :D :D not bad for someone who hasn't been running & building up her stamina eh? :P
Oh oh. Biology. Dissecting time. I felt like a murderer at the end of the Biology period. Haha. First it was the fish. I pulled out its gills like, blehh. Disturbing thought. Heh :\ Then it was the frog! The lab assistant woman killed them using chloroform :( They were supposed to be unconcious, but it was overwhelming for their tiny tiny lungs i guess. Awww :( So they died due to breathing in the chloroform. Oh well. I'm ashamed to say that I, KaiWen dissected Skinny the frog. We crucified it using pins and everything. Reminds me of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Sad sad moment. But I continued dissecting anyway. Bhahaha. Firstly, I removed its skin. This took me longer than the given time as my hands were shaking -.- Then we found his her eggs! :D the disturbing thing was that when we found its heart, it was still beating. Oh well. Everyone decided to bury the frogs :) Haha. But Koghana felt that it was vital to kill the frog completely before it's buried. I have to say I agree. I mean, who wants to be buried alive? :\ Eeeps. Oh well. Sam & Koghana practically cut off every single part of the poor frog's anatomy. SERIOUSLY! Heartless people. Tskk :P Anyway, we took the frogs outside the Bio lab and dug a hole. Placed the frog's body (or what's left of it) in the hole and ShuMei even buried a note in memory of them. How sweet. -raise eyebrows- not.
Harhar. So then, we decided to sing Auld Lang Syne. Lol. It was a pretty hilarious moment, if not for the fact that we're having a 'funeral'. Then we sang Amazing Grace, and had a "moment of silence". LOL :P Lord, I pray that you cover these frogs with Your grace, love and blessings... That's it. The first time dissecting a frog. :\ Oh, I'm not done yet. Told you many things happened today. Okay, after school, I had dance practice in the school gym from 2-5pm. Okay let's get to the point. In this particular V formation, we were supposed to be doing half cartwheels. I was preparing to do it, but the girl in front of me swung her legs and accidentally hit me. A sharp pain hit my right cheek. OhGod, it wasn't nice. The pain electrified to the back of my head due to the impact. And the next thing I know, I was on the floor, staring at tissues soaked with my own blood. It was a rather sick and bloody sight. My lips were numb and my head was throbbing madly. Okay, I'll save you all the gory details. I would show you the picture of my lip, but I doubt you'd want to see it. Though I have no objections whatsoever if you asked. :P
Blehh okay so anyway, my sis called my mom. And mom came. Brought me to the clinic. Panicking and everything. Thought i had a concussion. (Concussion? Pshh. AS IF.) Dr. Teong asked me if i wanna stitch my lip. I'm like NOOOOO?! WTH?! Yes, I would DIE to have a strand of nilon string permanently stitched in between my inner lip. -note the sarcasm- Geez. This world. Pfftt.
Alright, folks. I think that's about it :)
Oh oh! I found a dress for EPCC Formal Anniversary Dinner this Saturday already! Woooo :D :D It's greeeeeeeen. Yayness.

Okay. My previous posts are pathetic. It would save you some mental torture be easier for you if you'd ignore them. :P Anyway, I've been wanting to blog about this for quite some time. Okay anyway, you know how they say that eyes are a window to one's soul? Yeah. I took a look at my eye thoroughly (haha i mean it), and yes. My eyes aren't like those "her electric blue eyes were so deep, it was as if i could see what was she thinking at the back of her mind". Yes, I just made that up. But that's beside the point. Or like the split second before you're about to kiss a guy/girl, and you stare into their eyes, and you could actually read his feelings/thoughts for that split second of anticipation. The point is. My Eyes Are Brown Beady Marbles! Or something to its equivalent. Seriously. It doesn't have any warmth as to what deep eyes portray. It's saddening, really.Intense eyes with orbs surrounding them as if they're filled with emotion waiting to be released. Okay. Next, we shall see the premiere of KaiWen The Great's eyes. Sheesh. The things I tell/show you readers. Pshh. Drumroll please :)SEE I TOLD YOU THEY WERE BLACK AND BEADY. HMMM. BLACK BEADY EVIL EYES. :\ I guess that explains why I do the evil-eyed look so well. Even if i might say so myself. *Ahem*. Haha. So anyway, I've been so fed up with my eyes that I sometimes contemplate about whether to wear coloured contacts or not, seeing as I already am wearing them. Contacts, that is. Not all the time, but to hell with that. But repeating myself as to what I said just now, eyes ARE the windows to one's soul. So I guess wearing whatever contraption to mask your eye's actual colour would be like hiding your soul? Okay not as exaggerated as hiding your soul but y'know. Heh. Okay this is what the people who are promoting coloured contact lenses are saying."But the truth is that you can get contacts that have even a subtle change in color which can add drama to your looks and make wearing contacts more fun." Oh God. How FUN can changing your eye colour get?! Not being a party pooper here, but geez, seriously!Add drama huh. We already have enough of those, honey.
Editor's note: Bear in mind that I do not have anything against coloured eye contraptions. Really. Haha. Just pointing out a blatant fact :) Anyway, Sam read my draft and he asked me to be happy with my gorgeous eyes. Haha yes, Sammiepoo, I am happy. Like these little spastic sickeningly happy colourful people down here. :)
kai_quixotic.
P/PS: I seem rather bemused today. Hmmm. PMS-ing around. I would apologize, but I can't. Cos it's in me. :) Never apologize for being you, folks :P :P bhahaha.
