Post dedicated to Abigail Darling.
I just can't express how much I enjoy dancing with you.
There's just no substitute.
Our long exhausting journey from choreographing the dance moves, perfecting them, competing in the dance competition, winning the North Region title, getting the highest number of votes in Malaysia, learning a completely new dance routine, having our own music video, and watching our dance & smiles on TV.
It's the laughter captured in photographs, teasing each other, us screaming over Zac's wink during sleepovers, you getting annoyed with my sarcasm, inside jokes, and the connection during a dance which we know we will never be able to describe.
You're more than a dancing partner.
I adore you, kiddo.
& I'm gonna miss those silly moments.
XXX.
Had caroling practice at my place today. Funnn.
Will be heading to Holiday Inn for
ShuMei's farewell-sleepover tomorrow!
Gosh I love that idiot. Haha =]

Damn I really don't know where to start; really.
Yes I do realize it's a Tuesday and it's been ages since my last -short & pathetic- post. =)
But I'll make it up to you guys with a long post with loads of pictures (which costed me my beauty sleep, & which you would have to pay by something of my fancy).
On Wednesday, Mom, XiaoWen and I headed down to KL with Uncle Raymond driving.
Thank God he didn't let Mom drive. Phew. We weren't traveling alone though; Mr Lim, Uncle Peter and Jolynn followed in another car.
We reached KL after an almost-seven hour drive. And we only reached with the help of the GPS system. Thank God for technology.
Allan picked us up from the hotel Mom & company were staying at, and we headed for a midnight movie, Balls Of Fury in Sunway Pyramid. In my honest opinion, it was -no doubt- hilarious but definitely not cinema material. More like plain comedy with a pinch of action in it. We stayed at PeiWen's condo and decided to meet Mom & Co. at the stadium the next day. By the time we reached, it was 2am-ish. Washed up, had (extremely late) supper, and talked on the phone till 4am+.
The next day, we woke up at 12pm+, and headed down to One U for some shopping. Didn't buy as much as expected, as we had to leave at 3pm+. Had controversies in the car, and ended up at Malawati Stadium at around 7pm, no thanks to delays and wonderful KL traffic.
You could feel the excitement and anticipation buzzing in the air with the estimated 11,000 turn up. It was amazing. Bought the costly tennis magazine, which was apparently your one way ticket to meeting Federer & Sampras in person if you're lucky. But what are the odds of me getting it, so nope, I didn't.
There were performances by the cultural arts team, and also
JACLYN VICTOR!
Then the players came on court. I was starstruck by Fed, he looked hotter in person than on tv :D Haha.
And when the MC asked him will he be coming back to Malaysia, he said YES. And I cheered.
That wasn't the problem. It was the ONLY cheer. So you can imagine me going "Wooooooo!", then silence. Not a very nice situation, especially when your whole row is staring at you. Oh well. =)
During the national anthems. I WAS standing up right. -cough- :)
Some of the 11,000 people.
Normally I would without hesitation say that FedEx is gonna win the match, but last Thursday it really was insane. Sampras with his KILLER serve, could just beat Federer using serve winnings, as they (the serves) were so difficult to read that night.
"He played some unbelievable shots, but then again he is capable of doing that." - Roger Federer. There was one moment in the middle of the match when the crowd was getting all psyched and cheering for their respective players, and suddenly this dude shouted "
GO NADALLLL!" . Everyone went quiet for a moment and started laughing their asses off. I reckon the dude was either drunk or very lost.
The scoreboard says it all!
The oh-so-Malaysian prize presentation.
Players with the Agong, who looks extremely tiny here.
Federer; The Man. :D
XiaoWen, Mom, me.
We look so high and drunk. Dang.
After the match.
Picture says it all. Bhahaha.
Well, we left after everyone left and gathered outside the stadium, waiting for the car and everything. Suddenly found myself talking to two Federer fans, a KL schooling girl named Alea, and some engineer-photographer guy whom I forgot to ask the name.
Me, Mom, XiaoWen (with the giant RM49 tennis ball), Alea, Allan.
OH, before I forget, I stepped on the accelerator for the first time that night. Allan's car. It was amazing.
Then we went for supper with the uncles, Mom, Jolynn and Christine.
OH OH, and also after the game finished, and everyone left the stadium, I received a text msg from YaoChang, "Hey munchkins, I think I sat behind you throughout the whole game." I was like double-you-tee-eff?! Damn that guy. And the people behind me were cheering for Sampras throughtout the whole game, so.. Rawrr, Yao. -turns on heels and struts off- ;)
Reached the condo at like 2am again. Slept at almost 5am. Bleh.
Woke up at noon, and went to Sunway Pyramid to meet up with Mom & Co.
Had lunch, and met up with Sam, who was late because he got lost driving around KL. Smart ass. :P It was good to spend time with him, after so long. Uhm, okay about 2-3 months. Heh. I do tend to exaggerate.
Our almost finished Baskin Robbins.
XiaoWen GPS-ing our way around Malaysia. NOT.
Was playing Solitaire the whole time. She's bloody good.
We headed back to Penang at 4.30pm, and reached at midnight-ish. Short but fun-filled trip.
Anyway it's like 3am, so I better get some sleep.
Have got cheer practice at 7.30am tomorrow, and my whole body aches due to yesterday's 4 hour dance practice.
4 big performances coming up,
cheer practices 3 times a week,
dance practice everyday,
caroling practice tomorrow,
Abigail's farewell party tomorrow,
ShuMei's farewell-sleepover on Thursday to Friday,
dance practice & SNL on Saturday,
Jared, KhangYang and Jan's hiking trip on Sunday,
& Maureen and Joanna asked me to teach dance to a CLASS.
I can't TEACH DANCING! :O
What happened to my relaxed holiday plan?
Backfired.
Greaaaaat.
:D

Ahh. My Internet connection's back. After many many many days of being deprived from updating my blog, I have many many many things to blog about. Nevertheless, I'll keep it short.
[1] Stating the obvious:
SCHOOL'S OUT! -insert high frequency screams and squeals here-
Namely, no more:
No more ShuMei drawing angry SpongeBobs for my amusement
No more eating raw Vico & getting high in class
No more doodling on everyone's hands
No more Jan disturbing me while I'm savouring my nasi lemak
No more taking random pictures in class
Uhm, note; I'm not graduating this year. Haha just reminiscing the insane times we had in class this year. Excuse the drama.
[2] My sisters are back from Kiwi Land and KL. Isn't it weird that the acronym for Kiwi Land is KL as well? Heh :| Okay, not amusing. Y'know what's weirder? Me. Okay, I'll get back to this later.
*[3] Cheerleading practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
[4] Planning & choreographing of Christmas dance performance, Kids Ministry dance.
[5] Going down to KL for the
Clash of Times: Federer vs. Sampras event this Thursday. I am freaking excited, this is current world #1, Roger Federer we're talking about. And he's taking on his predecessor Pete Sampras in what promises to be an electrifying match up. Might see
YaoChang there, that tennis freak :P
[6] Dance performance on the mainland on Saturday, but will still be in KL. Bleh.
[7] Mei's sleepover/farewell party at Holiday Inn soon.
So yeah, pretty tight schedule, but I really just wanna take time out to spend
quality time with friends. Call me :)
Anyway, on Thursday, I skipped school cause I slept at 6:15am that
night morning which only left me 40 minutes to sleep. So yes, at 12pm-ish, I got a phonecall from this landline number.
DJ: Hey, is this KaiWen?
KaiWen: Uhh, yes.
DJ: *rambles for about a minute* This is Fly.FM and guess what? You're on air!
KaiWen: Uhh, okaaay?
DJ: So, we gather that you're the Malaysian champion for the My School Rocks dance competition! Tell us, how does it feel?
KaiWen: Whaa..? *hangs up*
Firstly, the number wasn't Fly.FM's hotline, as it was a 229---- number. & also radio stations don't just put you on the spot like that. Wait, do they? :|
Yeah so anyway, the supposed DJ turns out to be Ira and gang calling from school. It so wasn't funny. Pshh. I got pissed. But it's all good now. It's something I can look back at and laugh. So yes. :)
*I don't know what's wrong with me these few days. I go on rambling about random topics, not that it doesn't happen all the time, just more so often these days. & I feel so lethargic all the time! Mind you, when you hear this coming from a girl who has some form of exercise on at least four days in her weekly schedule, you know the situation's pretty much screwed up. & my schedule's so tight, I feel like dozing off every second. & I'm running out of ideas for choreography! Nuff said.
I guess as Dan said, I need some me time. Oh, yes I do.
"You can only be mad
at your best friends for an hour
cos you'll have stories to gush over
& need someone to blab it out to."
Janina Ramli, my darling :)

Pyjama Party 2007!
Pyjamees (Pyjamees?) : Afi, Ira, JiaLyn, Kai, Mon, Mei, Muz, SarahR., SarahS.
Reached Sarah's place at 1pm-ish, SOME people claimed they were starting it off in the morning, but ended up at like 4pm. Cough :P Had a helping of lagsana which Mei's mom made for lunch. Sarah, Mon, Mei and I played
The Weakest Link while awaiting the arrival of the Datin-Datin :P
At 4pm, everyone was busy doing their own thing with their gizmos and stuff, JiaLyn&Mon cracking their heads on some NancyDrew
computer game, SarahS. on the
phone, SarahR. racing on her
PSP, me watching Gossip Girl on the
iPod, etc. Whatever would we do without technology.
We went to the TV room downstairs and started off the movie marathon with our first movie, Blind Dating. Truthfully, I didn't watch one bit of it, and I'd like to blame it on Gossip Girl, which is so addictive. Then Ira started telling us about her experience in KL with The Click Five, and showed us all the merchandises she got there.
I wanted to kill her. She even changed hotels just to be in the same hotel as them.
DAMN HER. I SHOULD BE STAYING AT THE SAME HOTEL AS KYLE. NOT HERRRRR! Pshh. The obsessions of the young :P
We surfed through channels, and watched Take That's tour at some place and Mei & Sarah started getting all high screaming and doing the wave and stuff. Mmhmm.
When they returned to their sober self, we went to the kitchen to make pizzas. No, you're not on crack or anything, we MADE pizzas. From scratch, as in the dough. Okay, Sarah's mom made the dough, but you get the point.
That's the difference between other sleepovers and Pyjama Party 2007, people.
You order pizzas, but we MAKE our own pizzas. Aha. Yes, we had some difficulty with the stubborn dough but we did make FOUR mean pizzas at the end. And they managed to look like this.
OH DID I MENTION WE MISSED MY MUSIC VIDEO? COS WE WERE TOO CAUGHT UP MAKING PIZZAS. That sucked.
Oh well. After taking turns to bathe, we continued our movie marathon with Hairspray, Accepted, and I forgot what else. We were laughing the entire time and screaming everytime Zac winked (not a big fan, but hey, have you seen him wink?!). Before we knew it, it was like 2am. Some of us went upstairs and settled down, and I continued Gossip Girl on the iPod. Haha. Hey it was climatic okay. Long story short, I slept at 6am. Very nice.
Woke up at like almost 1pm. Lmao. Everyone went back at about 2-3pm, except Mon, Muz, Afi and I. Had late lunch, courtesy of Sarah's mom :D

I decided to compile a list of
Top 10 Hottest Guys 2007. It took me pain-stakingly 3 hours to compile this list, folks. Not that I'm complaining. ;)
Okay. Feast your eyes, ladies. Emphasize on the ladies, shall we?
BLAKE LEWISDid you see the way he treated Jordin at the finale?! True talent; true gentleman. Boy, what a charmer.
JTAs if everyone didn't already know Justin's the hottest thing to emerge out of a boyband since, well, ever; it never hurts to be reminded. Bhahaha. Which girl wouldn't like a great dancer? Not to mention a recording artist who produces amazing dance music. :D
SHIA LABEOUFHe's like the guy who sits behind you in class who always has a smart-aleck comment ready when the teacher calls on him and he doesn't know the answer :P Just a little rebellious but still a good guy: You can't help but love him.
ZAC EFRONThis one is dedicated to TeohShuMei, cos I know she'll totally murder me if I didn't insert him into the ohsofetch list of mine. The only thing that probably kept us from going into complete sugar shock mid-flick was watching Zac, who managed to look hot despite the ridiculous jogging suits he had to wear throughout the movie.
CHANNING TATUMHot-guy radar alert. Truthfully, he looks like a younger version of BradPitt to me =| However, he's more than just a handsome face
with a chiseled bod. Go track back his dance moves from Step Up, then come back here. Ahhh.
MILO VENTIMIGLIAThe sensitive-but-not-emo Peter Petrelli on Heroes. "Save the cheerleader, save the world" Haha. It's just impossbile not to swoon =]
OLIVER JAMESHave I mentioned how much I despise HilaryDuff and Amanda Bynes for kissing him in movies? Sweet natured, guitar playing, English heartthrob. Nuff said.
ADAM BRODYJust my obsession with hot geeks. Hello, we all know a hottie; but a hottie with brains, sarcasm and that awkward quirkiness? That's not something you get everyday :D Oh, and I can’t forget the numerous times he’s landed himself on “Hottest” lists over the years. But we don’t need an official list to tell us that he's a stud, now do we?
KYLE PATRICKKyle, kyle, kyle. Frontman of TheClickFive. You just have to love him. I'm not saying I prefer him over Eric, it's just that uhm.. Kyle is just insanely adorable on stage and off stage as well, & has a killer sense of humour. He's hilarious, really. :D
#1
JESSE METCALFEJesse isn't just another heartthrob on the list. HE
IS THE FREAKIN LIST! I don't know what else to say. Hello; he's Jesse Metcalfe, for goodness' sake.
Okay. I'm done for the day.
