Review of Oh Seven.

2007
Genesis; 2007 started with a very sticky and extremely uncomfortable situation; countdown at Gurney with white foam sprays with the youths. NOT fun. That was when I vowed to never go to a public countdown again, albeit I DID go for the Christmas countdown a few days ago. That was a mistake, in many ways.School; My class, 4A was undoubtedly THE best class ever. It was an experience, the whole schooling year, with all these witty girls who have a wicked sense of humour; namely ShuMei, Sarah R., Sarah S., Afi, Patrick, Muz and Sam. Never a dull moment, really. These people are insane, and I'm proud to say that they make me go high all the freaking time. Haha :P
Showbiz; 2007 is also definitely the year which I'm most involved in dancing, cheerleading and performances. Having performed this year in more than 30 dances and big events, being on the newspaper more than like 20 times, it has definitely been an eye opener for me in the entertainment world. Also, first time being on TV; first time having my very own music video. Ahem, big shot this year :P Haha joke.
Contributions; I could've been more generous this year, in terms of time, effort and cash. Of course, I donated to several organizations that I truly believe in, and want to make a change in. I had fun most during the Interact Children Camp, where we took time to plan TWO full days out for the orphans from different homes. I insanely adore kids, and truly find it difficult to say no to them, especially when they stare at you with those longing big eyes and pout. Ahhhh. Lol :P I would do anything for these kids, really.
Love; Lmao. That's not something that happened this year. Although I did (still do) feel the love and grace of God amazingly & most abundantly. Nothing serious this year, although there were a lot of drama. Yes, a lot wouldn't even come close, to say the least. Aha. So that's that.
Family; I've definitely became and drew closer to my family, especially my mom. Some people are at constant logger heads with their moms, and seriously I don't get it. I can't imagine how one survives without talking to their mom. My family is just about the greatest thing that's ever happened to me -smiles sheepishly- Haha. Every hug and kiss and form of affection I receive from my parents. (Eww, I don't kiss my sisters man. That's just.. not right. :|) Of course they are pretty damn demanding and tyrannic as well, no doubt! But still; family's family =]
This year also marks the leaving of my 2nd eldest sister, XiaoWen, to Auckland for Engineering. She's just such a ball of brain, truly. Oh how I cried my eyes out at her departure in the airport. Hahh. Well here she is back in Malaysia for summer break and going back tomorrow! :O
