So yes; realized I didn't blog about my week-long holiday; not that I blogged at all, but yeah :\
RELAY FOR LIFE! :D
Oh it was so enjoyable. Besides the fact that I had to perform under the rain. Bleh, not fun. Heh :\ so yeah, stayed back after the performance with Carol, Jan, Mon, Sarah & Weena. Walked like a billion rounds! For charity, people :D & halfway, they started to arrange these paperbags thingamajigs at the border of our 'circuit' :\ And some of them had writings and messages on them! Mon & I took our own sweet time to read and take pictures of them. It was so heartbreaking, & we had an emotional moment as we read out the messages to the cancer patients. :'(
Met many people! :) Sara L, Sarah Chng, Rebecca, Vanessa, Abigail, etc.
Monday;
Musical practice! Then went for a haircut; she gave me a fringe (again). Grr.
Then met up with Andy and Charlene in Gurney. Went for Celebrity Fitness.
Then we watched Step Up 2 with Charmaine, Charlotte & Javern. (Yes, I can hear you say "Finally!")
The Verdict: It was not wickedly good. Yes you heard me. I reckon it was so overrated, and the moves were just not that impressive, not to mention it was a complete overdose of the hiphop genre, with a teensy weensy bit of Latin dance. But credits for the last dance, of course. But the main guy lead wasn't a good dancer at all. I just don't get it. I mean, compared to Channing Tatum, hello?! Is anyone finding it odd at all :\
After that, went for dinner with Charlene's family, and headed back to her place. Did the coolest thing ever, fixed an exhaust fan with her brother, Javern, FROM SCRATCH. While her dad just watched and gave us the smug smile whenever we did something wrong. Haha :P He didn't want to give us any hints, we had to refer to (get this;) the Kemahiran Hidup Form 2 Textbook. Maddening. Who would have thought it'd come in handy? :O
All of us screamed when he plugged it in, and it works! Haha really fun time. Such an amazing family :)
This day made me mad; as SEVEN people said I looked younger than my younger sis. She's freaking FOURTEEN! Hello? What is this, age discrimination?! Grrr. Charlene's dad thought I was my sister's classmate. Thanks, Uncle. I needed that. -huffs & puffs away-
I blame it on the fringe.
Tuesday;
Musical practice for 4 hours. Went to CelebF. with Andy again, met Joel there. Got made fun about how heavy (or in this case, light) I was carrying -.-' Pshh.
So many funny encounters that day; met like 12 people just on the way up the escalator to the 7th floor :\ After we finished everything, walked to Andy's house for cheer practice. The walk was only less than 15 minutes, but seemed like eternity. Bleh. Fun talks on the way though :)
Wednesday; Musical practice for 4 hours again. Then cheer practice for 2 hours. Hilarious stupidity at Andy's place. "Concentrate". Lmao :P :P
Thursday; Went to the mainland for bowling training with Ari & MeiYen. Then went to Andy's house. So much drama. "Oh, how I hate karma!" Something to do with Alexis. Cough cough. :X
Friday; Cheer practice. & drama strikes again. Then went for bowling training with Marcus & Jon's friend :\ Raised my usual average to 140. Still a pathetic little score compared to Sam C. I hope you're not reading this, Sam. I will personally kill you :P
Saturday; BUSIEST DAY EVER! Didn't go back home until the next morning. Bleh, almost died of fatigue.
8-9.30am Musical prac.
9:30-10.30am Cheer prac. Had to rush for Hair & Make up.
11-2pm. Performance in Butterworth. So bloody far, to perform for a futsal game. The guys were so bloody scary. Went to this really cool place after that. SSF, it's near Charis Darling's place, I think. No details here, for security measures :P
4pm. CelebrityFitness. Just went there to bathe. Haha :\ Met up with Kelv & Cass, Kelv dropped us to church :)
5pm-12am. Saturday Night Live! :D :D :D So ridiculously enjoyable! Haha :D
Stayed the night at Cass's place. Late night talks again. We never get sleep when we're together. Haha I love her :) Needless to say, we missed tuition the next day. Couldn't wake up in time. -whistles while looking away guiltily- Heh! :\
That, folks, was my no-time-for-me holiday. What I was busy doing while everyone else was partying their socks off. But really, I wouldn't have it any other way :)
