I AM SO FREAKIN BUSY, I'M ON THE VERGE OF QUITTING AND DROPPING EVERYTHING I'M DOING. SERIOUSLY.
I am so busy that I collapsed at 10pm yesterday. You heard me; 10pm.
I'm in such an oh-my-god-i'm-so-behind realm, and I can't even think properly. I'm forever multitasking, & yes, I am making a mental list of what to pack for tomorrow's KL trip as we speak.
The main thing I'm getting paranoid over is most definitely my school's musical play, entitled 'Hope'. Oh geez, this is one amazing amazing play, which I can promise you, is nothing like the one we did last year. Not that I'm implying that last year's sucks, but y'know. Nudge. Cough. Nudge some more. Almost-convincing grin :D
Mmhmm, so what is my role in the musical, you ask? Well, I'm nowhere near playing the lead, as I'm just a mere dancer/maid/nurse. Yes, we dancers play many roles :) I'm not giving out any spoilers, because it's not the same if you're not there to watch it. Just like swimming, you can't learn swimming by reading about it. Scoff.
So anyways, we had a full rehearsal today, & (almost) everyone was there. The production crew, the creative team, the props people, the behind-the-scenes people, the musicians, the actors, director, script writer, etc. Oh gosh, I forgot myself, the dancers. -.-'
It was a bit emotional, I must say. We had every right to be. Look, a normal Broadway musical takes years to complete. We are squeezing everything into such a tight schedule, 2 months! And now the everything's finally getting together, it's a really darn-it-i-can't-find-a-word-to-describe-it moment. -hearty sigh- :)
The whole crew had so much fun in the process of making this musical a success. Okay fine, I HOPE (aha. hope. the title of our play) it will be a success. Don't jinx it, damnit. Geez.
So yeah. Do buy the tickets, and come. :D
Concert dates: 18th & 20th of April.
Time: 8-10pm & 3-5pm respectively.
Venue: Dewan Sri Pinang.
Ticket price: RM10 for children < 12, RM20 for students, RM30 for adults.
Why should you be there: Why, because Yours Truly is performing, of course! And also the proceeds will go to MAKNA, a Cancer Foundation. So you'll be helping cancer patients just by watching the play! :D
