PROM 08
No doubt a beautiful night; complete with beautiful Georgians. It was definitely different to see your everyday-uniform-clad schoolmates appear in beautiful gowns and donning extravagant make up. Everyone looked dazzling; all plucked, waxed, made up and all ravishing ;)
Everyone was rushing to get as many pictures as they can into their cameras, as it is our last highschool prom! Blinding camera flashes, a fixed smile&grin, the wind blowing in our hair; ruining our hairdo, but we don't care (Ooh it rhymes :P), hugs given & received, compliments being thrown around, the occasional "Ohmygoodness, you look amaaaazingggg!" and just light hearted fun.
JiaLyn & MeiYen. Sooo gorgeous! (:After everyone was seated, and the doors were closed, there was the usual procedure; speeches. It took quite some time, but after it was over, it was the food presentation. I feel the compelling need to blog about this, as it was so adorable! Yes, food presentations are normally tacky, with all the dancing and trying-too-hard-to-impress formations. But this was a James Bond theme, with the waiters wearing sunglasses. Very cute.
Then, the award ceremony. This, I have no comment (:
Performances by Georgians; a contemporary Indian dance which was amazing, a modern+jazz number by Andrea and dancers from her academy - jaw dropping; loved the energy, cheerleading by Vivacious! I was yelling my head off, and got a few glares from a certain teacher*, but I didn't care. It was a SPECTACULAR performance, they've improved a whole lot; beautiful toetouches, hurkeys & pikes, basket tosses, creative pyramids. I am not exaggerating, there were many difficult stunts.
Awesome duets by Daniel & Rachel, Oliver & Nabihah. Awe-struck. Jaw dropping. Fantastic. Nabihah sounded like Belle from Beauty & The Beast. No joke :|
There was a lucky draw too! (: Carol; oh lucky lucky Carol; won an iPod Shuffle :D Wooohoooo. And Mon got err.. a *heh* file & stationaries :P Hilarious moment when she opened it at the hotel room that night; while Carol was having a bubblebath. Haha "Omg Mon! An iPod!" :P *screams*

Totally surprised i was. Lol. [Very] self conscious and flushed with all those pairs of eyes on me, i walked up to the stage and stood there among many other pretty ladies. :] We were asked a question each and then had to do some modelling, with a fruit. I MUST add that she modelled her skinny ass off! It was a whoah moment ;) Very nice strut, being poised and all :P

Due to our surprise, our vice principal gave approval for a free dance! Everyone was seriously high, albeit the absence of alcohol :P At first it was on the floor, then they took it to the STAGE :| We just went with the flow, aha :P Enjoyable time!

After Prom`08
Jan, Carol, Mon, Mei, Vicki and I went to upr to send of Mei to meet Naz, after many many months in Aussie. Then we walked back to the hotel, as I was feeling uncomfortable. I don't fancy those kinda places, y'see. It's just not my kinda thingg (:
Reached the hotel, and washed up. Mon&Carol had to stop me from drinking anymore coffee, which apparently made me high. Chyeah right! *scoffs* :P & off we left for supper! Talked so much, Jan and I didn't wanna leave. We just wanted to sit there forever and ramble on and on. Ahhh.
Met up with Mei & Naz again, and left for the hotel (again).
It was close to 2am; we didn't notice the time! :\
Anyways, the fun begins (:

Anyways, we were high on laughter till about 5.30am, when the security/manager came to knock at our doors. That was seriously creepy! Yet hilarious.

Skipped school today;
Last minute decision, at 7am. Txted Mei, & asked her to rebel & come to my place to get our Moral Course Work over & done with.
Yes, she came. But at 8am+.

Supposed to go to Loon's farewell, but went to church instead. I'm sorry, Loon! I know Ian sent you my hug, and you didn't enjoy it :P HAHA. Love :)

MeiYen's 17th! :)
Went to school late, and saw Mon, Weena, Jan, Carol and Mei talking in the middle of the assembly court, while everyone else is already in class. Yes, -incase you're wondering- this is the usual scene which greets me every morning when I go to school and arrive at the B Block :P Was planning to creep up behind Mei, but err.. unforseen complications, and it didn't work out. Was trying not to make eye contact, but she saw me first. *scoffs*
"HEY, KAI". Damn. Quick, this girl. Haha. *smiles sheepishly*
So anyways, got back to class after countless hugs. Most teachers didn't make it into class, so we talked throughout the whole.. 3 hours till recess :) Really really fun talks :D :D

Thanks for dropping and picking me up from cheer and dance practices, for the silly jokes you make to cheer me up, for going into my room and sitting by my bed talking me through things when I'm upset, for the random trips to get icecream! I love our groceryshopping trips, you saying “Okay, last lap!” in the pool like a billion times when I want to stop swimming, the silly poser faces you do, the random names you call me, our evening jogs and so many other things. The smallest things make the biggest impact, and I love you for all those small things ;)

I know I've been having lazy posts lately, posting the shortest of posts, not even trying to make a point in my posts, etc :\
Really, I swear it's just a blogger's hiatus.
"Sorry. I haven't blogged in a few weeks. I was sick, then I went on vacation. You know, then real life got in the way. Moving on, I haven't been doing much lately. At least I'm not over indulging in non-academic activities, i.e. cheerleading, tennis, dancing, running, etc. Don't be mistaken, I loved (over)indulging in those, and still do. But you get tired after strenuous trainings and repeated exact schedules everyday. Well, I do.
Note: I'm not in the cheerleading squad this year. But I'm still VP, and still helping to design their.. stuff (props, club polo t, etc) and still going to their practices and helping out. It is obviously something I can't let go easily, having so much memories with the squad. Anyways, on a lighter note, they look SO good this year, so polished ;) Can't wait to see them compete at the Regionals! :)
School, ever since it reopened from term holidays, has been a drag. It really is. The teachers barely come into classes, causing us to laze around and as MeiYen would put it, "germinate fungi on our asses". Not only that, we are left with nothing (much) to do except for.. Yeah err.. Reading newspapers, staring at the food section in Star Metro (coughmeicough), doodling on people (coughmoncough), loitering around the school and visiting other people in their classes - I think this one applies to everyone :P

MeiYen got nominated Miss Georgian though! That is such a prestigious award, really! Like a billion times better than the aforementioned award. *scoffs* I mean, REALLY! When was the last time I tickled your humour? And don't give me sarcasm. I will.. kill you. With my eyeliner. (Lol Connor! Kudos to Sarah! :D)
Anyways, MeiYen. Yeah, she totally deserve to win. I mean consider this, she's smart, she runs, she plays golf national level!, she's charismatic, she's fun to be around with. Oh, and she's my best friend. That itself will be good enough to win her the award, no? Cough, apologies.
Can't wait for Prom 08! :D Next Saturday. Ahhh! :)
WeiLoon's having a party tomorrow. He's leaving to US. GRR. Not sure if I'll be able to make it, but I'll miss him truckloads. Mmhmm. Besides, I don't know anyone who's going! Except Ian (who invited me -.-'), and Jared - if he's going. Greaaaat. Such joy.
Weekends filled with parties & outings. Is anyone not aware of exams drawing closer?! Oh God, I sound like such a party pooper :P *slams head on keyboard*
