Spent almost 50% of the day under the rain. Oh God oh God oh God. Okay, I won't leave you hanging.
First thing when I reached school; went to find Mon & Carol sitting on the corridor, like every other morning. Mon and my first reaction after we said our goodmornings. SCREAMMMMM, really loud. Haha Carol just laughed :P Why, you ask? Refer to two post before this ;) DAVID ARCHULETA, of course. And his performance yesterday on American Idol! AMAZING vocal range; this is one extraordinary guy. And the irony of it all was that he sang 'Imagine', the song Sarah was singing YESTERDAY! How ironic, no? :) But no, Sarah. Just cos you sang the same song does NOT mean you have some telepathy psychic crap with HIM, alright? x)
Went for aerobics after that. Bleh, it was drizzling by the time I got there. So we had aerobics at the field. After awhile, the Band Dude said we can all go under the shade (as it was POURING, literally!). But nooooo, Pn. Florence HAD to ask "So you guys still wanna do aerobics, or wanna call it a day here?" DAMN. & Georgians being Georgians, they were CHEERING okay! Geez, so bloody excited. Wth. Bleh :( And mind you, it wasn't drizzling! IT WAS BLOODY HEAVILY POURING, I COULDN'T EVEN SEE PROPERLY. Performed dance & also cheer under the rain, and did aerobics later. Under the rain as well. Grrrr.
So pissified. Lol. Went back to class, changed, got out for cheer practice, finished cheer practice, returned to class, changed, and hung out with the gang who were all lazing around in my class. Haha :) Then made paper banners for Sam, who's competing in the preliminary round of GEORGIAN IDOL! :) Our school has it every year. Heh. SAM WAS GREAT! Too bad they didn't let her use her guitar, which she practiced with for like 2 weeks?! :( Oh well. We cheered like mad though. Haha =) Went for cheer practice (again) after that. Then got back to the hall to watch the rest of Georgian Idol :) Afi & I managed to convince Sarah S. to sing! She was great, but she kept asking "Was it bad? Did I suck? :(". Lol, Afi & I just rolled our eyes :P
Went to the Laman Ilmu to make Cavell stuff, sew masks, paint participants' numbers, and make silly banners. Eg. CAVELL. Don't hate us cos you ain't us. All you can do is wish you were. CAVELL. Be afraid. Be very afraid. I said DAMNNN! It's HOT in here, there must be some kind of Cavell in the atmosphere!
Haha I love CAVELL, so much, it's edging on obsession. Lol. What can I say, we Georgians definitely have a saturating amount of school spirit. Haha ;)
Overall, it was a fun fun day :) Didn't study one bit, except like 5 minutes of Physics with Mr. Saadan. Heeee :D I love school.
Random Updates:
The infamous Malaysian astronaut, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, is coming to our school, for I don't know what reason. Haha as silly as this sounds, it's kinda exciting. I mean, a world-renowned dude coming to St. George's? Like whoahh :)
Sports Day at the Stadium tomorrow. Come watch ;) Haha. Running, cheering, performing. Busy day :( Oh, did I mention that the Minister of Youth and Sports is attending our Sports Day? Well, she is. Too bad our Principal's still in England, attending some school managing thing :| Oh well.
Just realized that our school is so well-connected, bringing in all the famous people. Haha I don't know what I'd do if I was in another school. Haha probably TRANSFER to this school :P LOL.
Go St. George's Girls' High! :) I surprise myself sometimes. Lol :P
Was so high all day with Carol, Mon, Sarah P. Excessive intake of glucose, I reckon. And I blame ice pops & ice cream & SunTonic & Jan's junkfood & nasi lemak &.. OhEmGee. I ate so much in a day. Shitt :|
The opening ceremony (which took FOREVER!)
The race.
So anyways, competed in the 400m and 4x400m race. Was the first runner for the relay, and we didn't win. But at least we managed to lead until mid-race :) Half the battle won. Haha. How overly optimistic of me! :P Got 2nd in the 400m race. That was a stressful race. Haha! The time wasn't that satisfactory though, 1:20+, nearing 1:30. The record was 1:06. Like whoah? Over achiever. Tsk :)
I Love Running. To calm yourself down, to vent out your anger, forget your troubles, or just for the fun of it. Almost like dancing, no? Just not quite as fun, I suppose :)
Daviddd! Oh man. The looks, the voice and the so-omgish-rollingwithlaughter-nervous-charming-AHHHH thing about him. Triple threat? ;) No doubt :D
He is so adorable, humble and uber sweet! He makes me so happy watching him perform and being interviewed by Ryan. The kind of happy which makes you grin just thinking about him being all nervous. Haha okay corny. Forget I said that :P
"You can only vote for him, you can't actually adopt him" -Ryan.
GO DAVIDDDDD! =D I wanna vote for him so badly! :(
It was our school's annual 'Saringan' thing, where students compete before competing on Sports Day. At least I THINK that's what it is. Heh haven't been getting the latest 411 in school affairs. Bahh! Went to school early in the morning, and had cheer practice in the gym. Showered in school; no that wasn't a typo. Our school's showers are really nice! Haha :P Then waited for the bus. Went to look for people who were participating in the Saringan thingo.
Sweaty people :P
Said our goodbyes, and hugged everyone like a million times. Haha I still love them even though they're sweaty and wanted to tear off my shirt which said "Two Boyfriends Are Better Than One" :P :P Which is not true, by the way. Yes, I contradict myself. A lot. The journey down to KL took a painstaking 8 hours. Truthfully, I don't really mind as the saying goes Better late than never :) The driver was great, except for the air conditioning! I was FREEZING to my bones, and was cuddling Janice the entire time. Haha =)
Reached the place we're gonna put up at, which is apparently some 'high class' international hostel for athletes. It was WHOAHHH. It wasn't a hostel, in my honest opinion; more like hotel :|
Had an enjoyable & memorable 20-minute walk to some mall, and had dinner there. Took loads of pictures on the way.
CHEER CAMP 2008
Woke up at 4:50am just to rush for the bathroom, considering my dislike for wet bathrooms. Don't you roll your eyes at me, I just like being the first to use the bathroom :)
Off we left for the Cheer workshop at Segi College. Oh boy, is it BEAUTIFUL. Yes folks, I just described a college as beautiful. Seriously though, it was :D Also uhh, starstruck -if i could say that- by the CHARM Cheer Team. After hearing so much about them, you can NOT be shrugging your shoulders and be all casual when you see them :P HAHA.
Went around and mingle while the other teams arrived. Met some people from Sri KDU, and told them we loved their school. Aha. Who doesn't?! :) The workshop kicked start with dance warm up, led by this amazing gym choreographer. The moves were.. uhm WOW. Haha she was all "Show off that ass!" and "We are girls, and we want to show off our assets, yes or no?" Lmao. So that pretty much summed it up for the dance warm up. And that was only warm up, mind you. Haha :)
Had horrendous stretching, led by CHARM All Stars cheerleaders whose bodies are flexible to the extent that.. nevermind. You get it. Then we got into Jumps, Cheer & Chants, and also Dance. CHARM's head cheerleader was leading this, as he introduced us to different dance styles such as Broadway, Disco and others; as he thought HipHop is overrated and too commonly used. I couldn't deny that, and I personally think that Malaysia has so much room to improve where dance is concerned. What happened to Broadway, Musicals, Latin, etc?
He made us semi-choreograph our own dance moves, individually and perform them as a team, UNPLANNED. The theme was jazz, so it was easier, with all the jazz hands and sharp accentuated movements. Very nice, and we had to think fast. On second thought, there wasn't even time to think, more like free (jazz themed) dance.
One of the most fun-filled part of the day was Stunts. Oh mann, the so extremely experienced CHARM cheerleaders are insane, I tell you. Also, they have the best well-trained flyers and bases. It was led by this comical guy cheerleader, who was all "You're stunting, it's extremely dangerous, so pay attention. Talk? Never! Unless I let you talk. Which is neverrr!" Haha CHARM is just such an enjoyable team to be part of, although they're just our coach for the day. We had stunt requests, and the demo-ers just did whatever we requested. They never fail to impress, honestly. Whatever mad combination of stunts you can think of, they have already thought of them, to say the least :)
Completed the 9 hour workshop FINALLY and of course, reluctantly. Went back by bus, and I'm telling you, this is a SMALL SMALL SMALL world. At TAPAH, of all places, I met DAVID, of all people. Haha. David, my elementary school friend, whom I saw recently actually. But still :) Chatted and caught up with each other for a bit, and then continued the journey back to Penang. Drama after drama; the bus's tire got punctured, and it took -Get This.- FOUR HORRENDOUSLY LONG HOURS to get it changed. Reached home at 5am; was exhausted to the core.
Oh geez, I miss you so much. You are possibly the coolest and person I have ever met. Haha it's true! :) You are so yourself, and even though you're all the way in Sydney, I know you won't change one bit of your so full of life personality. I am telling you, I wouldn't have survived Form 4 without you walking with me to class, to the lab, to the library, etc. As philosophical and stupid as this may sound, you practically walked me through the whole of Form Four! :) I'm not saying that Form 4A wasn't the BEST class ever, but you are the exact pinch of cinnamon we needed ;) Haha damn THIS IS MUSHY. Gotta get back on track :P :P But it's true, however I'd like to deny this, you're the person I could spend a year stranded on an island with and not get bored for a second. Can't wait for you to come HOME in July! :D :D :D
I find this picture very amusing; Everyone except Mei and my head are tilted to the left. Lol.
P.S. I tried calling you just now. I really did! But the bloody operator was being all annoying, and I couldn't get through. So I tried Skype-ing you, but you weren't logged on. So yeah :) I tried :P
P.P.S. Happy Birthday too, Yao! :) I hope I remembered a card for you in the letter! :| Heh. Sorry I couldn't get you another iPood this year! Heh =) Miss you dude.
An update after such a long time! Valentine's Day.
Had so much fun in school! Gave the WHOLE CLASS VDay cards which I sacrificed my holidays to make tirelessly :P :P Gave some people the puppet dolls I bought last minute at the airport. Haha of all place to buy a gift. They love them, and we decided to hang ours on our respective school daily planners :) Received random notes, love notes, candies, chocolates, chocolate-covered strawberries, and even ANONYMOUS gifts =\ It said "From: California". WHOTHEHECK IS CALIFORNIA?! LOL. Mon received it from the same person as well :|
A night out with my girlies ;) Andrea, Marilyn and NiWen. Went to New World Park, watched performances, and met BeeLin, Alexandra, and even JeanNette and Stef! Haven't seen them in awhile. Miss em so dearlyyyy. Saw Daniel and Jack as well :) Oh, there's this time, the damn 'Mr. Perfect' MC made Andrea, NiWen and I go up on stage and play Simon Says! Ahhh, felt so gullible and silly. Haha, and at last, he asked us to dance -.-' Since we're from the same dance team, we decided to take it from the chorus of one of our dance, but it kinda didn't work out, so everyone decided to free dance. Haha it was fun =] Then later at the end of the show, he made us go up and dance again -.-' No pictures, sadly :(
P.S. I love you too :P P.P.S. -W. Maybe, just maybe, I'm better off without you.
Random Updates: I. Selected for 400m and 4x400m for Sports Day (together with Weena, Sarah and Mon). I love running and all, but considering my recorded time during training today, don't think I'll bag any medals. Stamina's dropping, and haven't been training except today. If only I can bring in my iPod when I'm competing! An extra boost :) II. I miss ShuMei. III. Started bowling training on Sunday. Gotta get prepared for MSSPP. IV. I seriously need to decide what to do after SPM. My tertiary education is so unplanned, and all my interests are so diversed! Dentistry, Photography, Graphic Design, Performing Arts. This is not good.
I hope all your cards, plans, dates and presents are ready, 'cause mine are! :P REALITY CHECK! It's VALENTINE'S DAY! I love all you readers out there! And yes, you are my valentine. Lol :P :P So cheeeeeesy :P
Spent two whole days of my holidays making Valentine's Day cards. Finished more than 40 already! :O Oh, how my fingers ache cutting like about a billion paper hearts, damnit. Haha but I like people knowing they're remembered, so yes. =] I love my people. Lol. Can't wait to give out cards and presents tomorrow! Yay :)
Went around the whole of Penang island due to Aunt & Uncle's request to uhh, y'know, see Penang. Well, before they go back to Aus.
Went to Rasa Sayang for a short while, and took a few - if I may say so myself - splendid shots. Haha :P Get this, Sarah & Afi: I saw a Danny look-alike! But y'know the thing about look-alikes, they're not better than the actual person. -Cue: DUHHH- It was sad. =)
We then headed off to damn, I forgot the name of the place, but it's a dam. I'll edit this post when I find out the name. Lol. The amazing thing about photographing there is that the sky is clear with not excessive sunlight, while the lampposts are switched on! So there was perfect lighting, just like a photoshoot. The view was actually NOT BAD, quite mesmerizing. So taken in with the breath-taking view that you could just stand there, and not notice the time.
Credits to NiWen for the shot. She insisted that her name is mentioned. -rolls eyes- Younger sisters. Pahh :P
Then we took a -what seemed like an eternity- drive to the east-west of the island, which is pretty BLOODY far, if you asked me. Seriously! The nerve of Dad some people for not telling us the amount of time needed for the horrendous journey. Went to some restaurant for dinner, waited for ages. Thankfully, the food was appetizing. Okay fine, it was really good :) Went home, and that was that. =]
A Cry of Desperation by KaiWen, Sarah C., Sarah R., & Shangita of 5 Delima
First off, Education, We need a better direction, Not just useless redundant information.
12 subjects is just too much, We can't possibly find our touch, Our interest, Our passion, Which will help this nation.
Grow, Cause at last, You reap what you sow.
Our syllabus is terrible, It's definitely not applicable, If this is our direction, There won't be any expansion and improvement.
So after saying so much, Our point is simply such, That we've got so many afflictions, So what is the actual solution?
Take away your pride, Drop your crowns, Cause if we don't thrive, All of us are going down.
We need a better syllabus, For all of us, We need more funds for school facilities, And more job opportunities.
Remove unneccesary subjects, They will only distract, Open our eyes, See the world and future which lies.
C'mon everyone has a shot at education, Don't deprive us of any development.
Listen to us, Our pleas, Our thoughts, Cause we all know, Education can't be bought.

It was such an uhm.. interesting [to say the least] English period today. Our group chose Government, so we had to blame our not-progressive-stage on the Government's education system. Heh.
Sarah C. wrote the reasons, and Sarah R. and I just start rhyming everything! Haha. It was a fun process =] THOUGH WE COULDN'T CONCENTRATE COS SOME OVER ACHIEVERS FROM ANOTHER GROUP WERE SINGING. GEEZ MAN.
Afi and Sam's group was AMAZING. They sounded so.. WOW, like some acapella group, I'm not even kidding. Sam was harmonizing the song SO BLOODY WELL! Sam came up with the lyrics, and Afi came up with this REALLY catchy melody. It reminded me of something like Pink - Dear Mr. President. Only better, actually. And to think we did EVERYTHING in less than 20 minutes.
Afi, oh Afi. You freak :P Oh how I love you so. HAHA.
Random Updates: Australian aunt & uncle went back to the Land Down Under yesterday :( :( Miss 'em truckloads. They're such joy to be around with, seriously. Coolest people evahh ;) Spent 2 days of my holidays making Valentine's Day cards. Be prepared, people ;) I can't never get bored of making things for people. Lol ask uhm, haha anyone : HAHA.
Oh wow, two posts in less than an hour. I can't help it. Okay, I'm not trying to inflate my own bubble, but I just had 20+ people online ON my blog at a time. Oh, don't give me that blank stare. 20+ at a specific time is a lot!
And also, my readers from all over the world. Welcome, people. I've never really acknowledge the countries and flags on my FEEDJIT bar until today. Heh! So yeah. Keep readin`. Loves.
Yes, I do realize it's 2:36am, and I'm still posting and blasting music to the extent that you can't hear yourself think. But whatever. I blame Mon. =D AND the scrumptious tiramisu cake I had awhile ago. Oh. AND MON TOO =D And the yummy yummy chicken [& yes, people who know me, i ate chicken. CHICKEN! :D] with like a gallon of sauce. WTF MONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN *birds sing* I WAS SUPPOSED TO SLEEP LIKE AGES AGO HAHAHA. OH MAN. I'M SO COPYING THIS CONVO.
See, people. This is what I go through everyday. Tsk tsk. However, I still love this makcik to bits and pieces lahhhh :P She is, my one & only klutz partner. Whatever would I do without her?! -dramatic gasp- -hyperventilates-
You HAVE to love her. Look at her innocent -cough- -chokes on imaginary orange juice- -coughs numerously- facial expression. DAMN.
No, readers; I didn't have the privilege of going to the much-anticipated concert in KL! But YaoChang did, and I'm not very happy cos he just HAD to rub it in my face; coughjealouscough. Lol. Switchfoot is an amazing band, with music genre classified as alternative rock & driven by AWESOME hard-charging guitar riffs, while throwing in a few softer, spacey ballads as well. They somehow always manage to capture the melodic crunch of the particular song, and it turns out like whoahh :D Oh, and their lyrics are ♥. Ahhhhh, I can listen forever.
Went for the oh-so-prestigious SAK's meeting again today. Venue: Rainbow's place; more specifically her dad's extremely well-equipped office, with like about a billion scanners and printers all over the place. Lol. Had so much fun together with the girls. We did so much more than just make SAK stuffies. Got distracted and went YouTube-ing on Rainbow's laptop, as always. McFlying, Charice-ing (THIS BLOODY 14 YEAR OLD IS MINDBLOWING. WE JUST DESPISE HER, DON'T WE, GIRLS?), HarryPotter Rapping, Hilarious Misunderstandings, etc. Ahhh, "What DOESN'T YouTube have?" Couldn't disagree one bit. We are such a hyper bunch. Needless to say, my humour immune system was working excessive & more-than-usual today : Heh! But whatev, it's a good thing :D Went back to Sarah's at about 5-ish. Spent like a good 2 hours watching GG on her PSP. (Sarah, I hate the bloody transparent button. Grrr, kept TER-pressing it and the whole thing restarts. Damn.) No pictures. Lost the cam's memory card =O Damn.
Pointless mind-decaying talk by some.. uhm dude. Two recesses! Yay. I like recess. A lot, if I might add =] At least Mei, Mon, Carol and I managed to spot a hot photographer, right girls? BHAHAHA. No thanks to Mei for ogling. Geez, the nerve of some people. Tsk tsk.
Oh, I managed to master the art of slamming my locker, thanks to my higher-ranked locker-slammer, MeiYen =D
Random Update Firstly, the first SAK product has finally been released. To read more about it, visit darling Rainbow's blog.
It's amazing, I'm telling yah. Meeting up at Rainbow's place tomorrow for more pre-ordered products. Wicked. -eyes glinting-
Secondly, condolence to Monica Strait. Yes, the surname still remains; as it will forever. Awhhh, Mon :P & also Sarah Lee Poynter. You know we love you. Haha we (+ Doug) ALLLLL do. ;)
